Our Goal: Herd Immunity

Herd immunity occurs when 75% or more of a community becomes immune to a disease, making the spread of disease from person to person unlikely. As a result, the whole community becomes protected — not just those who are vaccinated. Percentage based upon vaccination rate of those age 18+  in the Central Shenandoah Health District.

Before and After Your Vaccine

Masking, social distancing, and practicing good hand hygiene are the most important things you can continue doing even after your vaccine. Do your part in safeguarding our community by washing your hands consistently, wearing your mask, and keeping at least six feet away from others while in public.
